About the marina

Welcome to the Buzzard's Point Marina. We are located just 5 minutes off the Chesapeake Bay at 37.50.556 N and 076.17.236 W, right nere in Reedville, Va. You will find some of the very best fishing in the bay right outside our facility. We are the home of the world famous Reedville Bluefish Derby! The Derby is held during the second week of June each & every year.

Others

Many species of fish are available to the angler from the local waters. They include the Bay's Treasure, Striped Bass (Rockfish) above, Cobia (below), Bluefish (below), Flounder (below), Croaker, Spot, Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Shark, and more. Come fish with us, you will have the time of your life, and catch fish too!

In addition to great fishing, we also offer some of the best sight seeing in the country. Smith Point Light House, an original bay lighthouse and a long standing landmark from days gone by is just minutes from your docks. It still serves today as a navigational point for ships from around the world.

Location

Once you get to the Reedville area, just after you go through Burgess on Route 360, you will come to a fork in the road. In the middle of the fork you will see an old Red Restaraunt. Bear right at that fork onto Rt. 646. Come on down just over a mile and turn left at the sign onto Rt. 656 and drive on into Buzzard's Point Marina.
