About the marina

Dandy Haven is a manmade harbor on the Back River in Hampton, Virginia. We have complete facilities for boat storage and repair, and a highly trained staff of experienced professionals to meet your needs.

Facilities

* 75 wet slips with both fixed and floating docks.
* 34 sheltered dry storage slots
* Fixed and floating docks to accomodate up to 45 ft length
* Dry storage facility accommodates boats to 25 feet.
* Electric Metered slips are also offered.

Others

We have two forklifts and a 25 ton travel lift. Service work performed includes hauling, bottom painting, pump out facilities, engine diagnostics, repair and rebuilding services. Seasonal maintenance is another Dandy Haven specialty. Fiberglass repair and electronic work is performed on site by Factory Point Marine.

Engine franchises include Mercruiser sales and service, Mercury Outboard parts and service, and OMC Cobra Sterndrive parts and service.

Our mechanics are Mercury and Mercruiser Master and Certified Technicians, and have many years of experience. We maintain a large on-site parts inventory. Parts may also be ordered directly from Mercury Marine.

Location

Dandy Haven Marina is located on 12 acres of a 40-acre parcel in the Fox Hill area of Hampton, Virginia. We are approximately 12 miles from Interstate 64 and easily accessible by land and water.

Dandy Haven is 5 nm from Bluefish Rock, 11 nm from the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, and 4 nm from the Back River reef. The marina is one-half mile from Hampton's public boat landing, with easy access by car or boat.
