About the marina

In January of 2006, The City Marina Co. started planning for the Charleston Marine Industrial Park (Charleston Marine). Located on Shipyard Creek on the Charleston Peninsula, this facility will service vessels between 50 and 150 tons. Charleston Marine features 700+ feet of deep water frontage on 18-acres. The City Marina Company acquired the Charleston Municipal Marina in February of 1994. Through its redevelopment efforts, The City Marina Company has revitalized the popular downtown complex, now known as the Charleston City Marina, and added the MegaDock and The Sea Store convenience store and BP/Amoco gas station.

Charleston City Marina is located just off the Intracoastal Waterway at mile 469.5 on the Ashley River.
