About the marina

Spend-A-Day Marina began in 1950 as a small boat rental facility on Indian Lake, in Russells Point, Ohio. As the area grew so did the demand for water recreation. Bill Reed, the owner of Spend-A-Day Marina, saw the potential for the resort destination and expanded the rental business to include selling and servicing Evinrude outboard motors. In 1953 a larger building was constructed to accommodate the increased traffic and another expansion began in 1959. The “old” building was reconstructed on the new site and now serves as the home of our current service department.

A newly remodeled large 11,000 square feet of service department, 30,000 square feet of inside storage, 9 overhead hoists, 95 boat slips and a wide selection of the special tools necessary to care for any marine equipment.
