About the marina

Located on Catawba Island, Winke's Boat Storage, Inc. & Landing, established in 1958, is a full service marina, repair and storage facility.

The Gas Dock at the marina is open daily during the summer season, providing personal service, beverages and snacks. It is also equipped with a "state of the art" pump out.

Facilities

Our equipment and repair facilities are capable of handling boats in excess of 40'. We have several certified mechanics on staff, trained and experienced on all types of marine engines and drive systems. Our fiberglass and wood repair specialists can handle a great range of repair tasks. The storage facility provides both inside and outside storage options, for the summer and winter seasons. The staff of Winke's Boat Storage, Inc. & Landing, awaits to service all your boating needs.

Location

Ohio State Route 2 is the primary East-West highway coming from the Toledo and Cleveland areas: Exit Route 2 at the Catawba Island, Put-In-Bay, State Route 53 North Exit. The ramp "feeds" directly onto 53 North. Proceed North on 53. The Marina is 3.5 miles North of the exit, the entrance will be on your right-hand side (East); There is a sign (unlit) there. Proceed down the marina entrance road, and after @1200' you will enter the main marina area.

The Storage is 4.5 miles North of the exit, the entrance will be on your left-hand side (West); There is a sign (unlit) there. Entering the main drive you will pass the "front barn" first. As you proceed into the facility you will see two rows of blue storage buildings, single bays on the North, double bays (sizably larger) to the South. Proceed between the these two rows of buildings until you see the service shop(s), which is white. You will turn left between the Service Shop and the next storage building in the South row. On the South side of the Service Shop you will find the Main Office. Click here for printable diagram - finding our office can be confusing. Please park into the building. Winter 7am - 4:30pm M-Sat Closed Sunday
Summer 7am - 4:30pm M-Sat 9am - 3:30pm Sunday.
