About the marina

Peninsula Yacht Club offers our members an exciting package of opportunities for boating, leisure, and recreation.

At the grand opening the PYC, in 1995, consisted of approximately 540 members and has since grown to nearly 950.

Facilities

The Marina – The Peninsula Yacht Club Marina is in a well-protected deep-water cove. We offer a variety of service to our members. The Marina has 405 Slips, ranging from 25-45 feet in length. Each slip is equipped with water and electricity hookups, a locker box, and larger slips have wiring for cable and telephone. Pump-out, fuel dock, and shower facilities are available. In addition to these amenities we have a fine Marina Staff to assist our members on the docks.

Others

The Peninsula Yacht Club pool area is designed to provide fun for every member of the family. Bask in the poolside sun, take a dip in the family-size swimming pool or watch your children make a splash in the wading pool.

Location

The Peninsula Yacht Club is situated on the shores of Lake Norman, which is just north of Charlotte, NC and is the largest inland lake in the Carolinas. We are located at the site of the former Outrigger marina that was founded in 1974.
