About the marina

Small and picturesque, Essex Marina is located on the deep water "narrows" of Lake Champlain. Essex Marina has a shipbuilding history dating from before the Revolutionary War through the 21st century.
It boasts two functional marine railways, renovated buildings, updated services, modern floating dock system and is meticulously maintained. Essex Marina is a frequent rendezvous point for antique boat enthusiasts, and is known as Lake Champlain's primary "getaway" destination.
There's a lot to do within a short walk on shore and fantastic fishing for landlock salmon, bass and lake trout in the immediate area
