Hammock Island Marina

About the marina

Hammock Island Marina is a small privately owned sailboat marina; our location was selected with sailboats in mind, the facilities were designed for sailboats and it is owned and operated by sailors. We can accommodate boats to 38 feet in slips and aisles designed for safety and ease of handling. On the island itself there is a two story lighthouse shaped building containing restrooms (with tiled showers) and a many windowed upstairs room where slipholders can swap sailing stories or pick a book from the library for their next cruise. There is also a shady picnic area with grill and nearly always a breeze.

Facilities

Although we don't sell gas or diesel fuel, both are available next door as are repair and haul-out facilities and a ship's store. A de-icer system is installed for those preferring to leave their boats in the water year round.

We offer beautiful site and facilities, unspoiled and protected creek, just off the Bay, many cruising, estinations, easy road access, family atmosphere, excellent security, convenient services and personal attention... what else you want!

Location

Hammock Island is located on Bodkin Creek halfway between Annapolis and Baltimore. We think it's the most attractive setting on Maryland's Western Shore, and most of our slipholders from Virginia to Pennsylvania agree.
