Our restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the Back Creek Basin, C&D Canal and historic Chesapeake City. Whether you choose to have lunch or dinner, you can enjoy a delicious meal inside or out.

Facilities

Our 65-slip Marina is available for transient boaters stopping by for dinner, overnight stays or seasonal rentals. We have 24-hour shower and restroom facilities. For a Bed & Breakfast experience The Shipwatch Inn is in walking distance from the docks, why not make your stay extra special.

Location

- From Newark, Delaware: Follow Rt. 896 South to the intersection of Route 40. Cross Rt. 40 and continue straight on Rt. 896 South for four miles. Cross the Summit Bridge and take your first right at the base of the bridge onto Rt. 15. Follow Rt. 15 for one and make a right onto Rt. 286. Follow Rt. 286 West to Chesapeake City for four miles. Go around basin and the Chesapeake Inn will be on your right coming into town.

- From Middletown, Delaware: Follow Rt. 896 / Rt. 71 North through the town of Middletown. Make a left at the blinker light before the Summit Bridge onto Rt. 15 South. Follow Rt. 15 for one mile and make a right onto Rt. 286. Follow Rt. 286 West to Chesapeake City for four miles. Go around basin and the Chesapeake Inn will be on your right coming into town.
