About the marina

Podickory Point is a privately owned yacht and beach club on the Chesapeake Bay, 2 miles Northwest of the Bay Bridge, near the mouth of the Magothy River and is surrounded by the state-owned nature preserve of the Sandy Point State Park.

Facilities

Yatch Club membership is included in your slip rental. The membership includes full use of the pool area, tennis court, beach and picnic areas and the gym and exercise room. The Yacht Club Board of Governors, which is made up of club members, plans and hosts several functions and boating events each year.

Location

Take Route 50 East towards the Bay Bridge. Take Exit #32 toward Sandy Point State Park. Turn left at the stop sign, then left again onto College Parkway East. Go left on College Parkway East for approximately 1/4 mile to Log Inn Road. Turn right on to Log Inn Road. At about 1/2 mile Log Inn Road splits to the right. Stay straight on Tydings Dr. (left) for a 1/4 mile, turn right on to Bay Front Terrace, paying close attention to the speed limit. Our gate is 1 1/2 blocks down on the right.
