About the marina

Carters Lake is located in the North West Georgia mountains, between Atlanta and Chattanooga. 62 miles of shoreline surround 3200 acres of clear, clean water.

Often described as "Georgia's Best Kept Secret", the lake is a welcome escape from the bustle of city life, only an hour away.

Facilities

We offer in water storage for all sizes of boats, from small pleasure craft to large houseboats. Covered and uncovered docks are available, most with power and water. Recent improvements include 30 ft and 50 ft covered docks, we now also offer a self service pump out station, also available are on-water gas sales and convenience store.

Others

Our accommodations range from luxury cabins to basic rooms, with a choice to fit every budget and need. Our luxury cabins were completed in July 1998 and have great lake and mountain views, our family cabins are more rustic and the rooms are great for a quick getaway.

Location

Approx 90 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia and 90 miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The closest towns are approx 20 miles away, Ellijay to the northeast, Chatsworth to the northwest and Jasper to the southeast.
