About the marina

Building on the strengths of an established location, Pier 17 Marina & Yacht Club will convert the former Summerfield Boatworks into a unique mega yacht facility. Situated on the South Fork of New River, this long sought-after site is now being completely remodeled by some of the most accomplished professionals involved in state-of-the-art marinas. The planned renovation will combine functionality and style, bringing modern conveniences to a time-honored dock.

At the center of this alliance is GreyHawk Marine Group, whose reputation in the marina industry brings focused experience to the redevelopment process. For hands-on expertise, GreyHawk has engaged Flagship Marinas to become the property’s managing entity, which ensures competence and quality will be the hallmarks of Pier 17. Adding to the success in both planning and design are the specialized team of strategists at Tetra Tech, CDI, and the renowned architectural firm, Affiniti Architects.

Together, these industry professionals have produced a truly outstanding project. Upon its completion, Pier 17 will be the most exciting development in the Fort Lauderdale area.

We are located at the South Fork of the New River, 3 miles from the ICW and 4 miles from Port Everglades, just east of the I-95 bridge.
