About the marina

Northern California has many great places to get away. One of the most popular is Lake Shasta. Thirty thousand acres of clear water surround hundreds of miles of unspoiled shoreline.

Silverthorn Resort offers four styles of houseboats with a floorplan sure to meet your boating needs. Each houseboat is a complete floating "suite" with up to 1500 square feet of cabin and deck space. Our houseboats are featuring fully-railed decks, swim platforms, slides, roof-top sundecks, propane BBQs, and air conditioning or swamp coolers.

Facilities

All houseboats come equipped with modern and convenient kitchens that include a built-in range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor, two refrigerators, and plenty of cabinet and counter space. Even the dishes, pots, pans, and silverware are included! These houseboats sleep from 10 to 16 adults in comfort and have two full bathrooms, providing convenience to both large and small groups.

Silverthorn Resort offers more than just houseboat vacations! We have a full-service marina complete with fuel, propane, fresh water, pump-out facilities, grocery & store, and apparel shop.

Private Moorage is available for Patio Boats, Ski Boats & Houseboats. Please call for rates & availability.

Our floating store is stocked with groceries, ice, beer & wine, soda, snacks, ice cream and more.
For the fisherman, you can find the latest in live bait, tackle and supplies.
