About the marina

Swanwick Marina is situated on the eastern bank of the River Hamble, near Bursledon Bridge, and approximately two miles upriver from its entrance on Southampton Water.

Its sheltered location and excellent facilities make it an ideal base for exploring the Solent and cruising further afield on both sides of the channel.

There are also a limited number of Swinging Moorings available, payable yearly in advance for vessels up to 9.15m for £1,341.32

Location

By Road
Swanwick Marina is situated where the A27 crosses the River Hamble east of Southampton, and is easily reached from either junction 8 or 9 of the M27.

By Rail
Southampton Airport Parkway is the nearest mainline station, and Bursledon is the local station on the Southampton to Portsmouth line, approximately 8 – 10 minutes walk away. Local trains run about once an hour. From the station go to the main road (A27) and turn right, walk over the bridge and the marina is on the right hand side. National Rail Enquiries 08457 484950.
